One of our favorite spots for dining and craft cocktails. When the crater is flowing, you can see the glow right from your table. Definitely one of the higher end offerings in our sleepy little Volcano Village. Located inside the park, you can visit after a day of hiking, or make it a more special night out and get dressed up. Either way, make sure and call ahead and reserve a table.

Located in the renovated, historic Volcano House Hotel, The Rim Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, daily. The panoramic window-wall offers large views of Kilauea caldera and sunsets. (The best view of the summit eruption's underground lava lake is still from Jaggar Museum, though.) This restaurant is about a twelve-minute drive from the cottage, and, depending on the time of day, you would have to purchase a Park pass or show your receipt for a pass already purchased, to gain entry into HVNP.

Volcano; The restaurant (located in the park) is reminiscent of the Great Old Lodges in the National Park system. This restaurant overlooks the Halema'uma'a crater within the Kiluea Caldera. Every sunset is different and some spectacular ! Good food and great views ! Also right next to it is Uncle George's bar which also serves lunch & dinner with the same views ! Great big rock fireplace w fire and hot chocolate available in gift shop. Menu available on line. Don't forget to take a jacket, cooler climate especially in the evenings ! 4000 ft elev
