J.J's, now called the Country Market, has better meat than Malama Market. Sometimes they have good mini quiches, which are a good option if you don't want to cook, or deal with a long wait at Gramma's kitchen.

For meat lovers! This is the place to get your locally raised Non-GMO Big Island Beef for a nice BBQ here at the Ka Milo pool area. The meat is a fraction of the price the grocery stores charge and some items you will find only at J J’s. If you are around Honoka’a because you are checking out Waipio Valley, J J’s is literately on your way to Waipio Valley. Big Island’s beef is raised on the green pastures around Mauna Kea. It’s clean meat and tasty! Sometimes you can spot the cattle grassing when driving to Waimea or Honokaa. Tuesday’s are fresh meat deliveries so you’ll have the best choices then.
