Named after the ubiquitous red flower in gardens and the ancient grain, is located on a sparse stretch of Lisbon Avenue. The cafe itself is not much more than a handful of a mismatched tables, chairs and a few overflowing bookshelves. The menu changes daily, but the quality and “wow” factor is consistent. Drive/bike to this location only.

Best bakery in the city. They use heritage grains and use seasonal ingredients in their breads, pastries, salads, and quiche's. They have coffee, tea, chocolate, and other products available.

This community-focused bakery in the the Cold Spring Park neighborhood functions as a neighborhood hub, as well as a delicious bakery and lunch spot. Savory brioche, yummy soups, and delicious baked goods are some of what you can expect. Also expect to meet some cool people doing good work in the neighborhood - the people we see there are really the most special thing about this place.
