Have a meal at one of several restaurants at the area’s most fashionable resort hotel. Or have a drink while watching the sunset by one of the fire pits. Whatever you fancy, you can’t go wrong at The Grand!

Walk the beautiful gardens of the Grand Hotel in Point Clear. Don't forget to grab your coffee in the lobby coffee shop first. Then meander to the boardwalk - behind the hotel and bayside. Be sure to walk the whole thing and get great pictures at the point. As a matter of fact, there are great photo ops any place you go at the Grand. Join them on the bayside at 4:00 p.m. daily - seven days per week - to here the story of the battle of Mobile Bay and watch them shoot off the canon, then move into the dining room for complimentary fresh baked cookies, tea, coffee, with clotted cream! consider a morning bloody Mary or late afternoon or evening cocktail outside on the verandas with hor'duerves, breakfast, lunch or dinner!

For a really swanky evening, come here 30 minutes before sunset and stroll along the boardwalk before dining in one of the most beautiful restaurants in AL. The views are incredible - summer or winter
