The bridge can be seen in the beginning of the 2002 film XXX [5] in which Vin Diesel's character Xander Cage is seen driving a stolen red Chevrolet Corvette off of it, then jumping from the car mid-flight and parachuting to his accomplices at the bottom of the American River Canyon. It also appears in a montage sequence toward the end of the romantic comedy The Ugly Truth,[6] and has been utilized in multiple exercise equipment advertisements. As of the middle of 2016, there have been 76 suicides since the bridge's construction.

One of the tallest bridges in the USA and the tallest bridge in California at 730'. Park on the East end of the bridge and walk to the middle for a heart stopping view.

Among the 5 highest bridges in the United States, the highest in California, the Foresthill Bridge crossing the North fork American River is an incredible feat of engineering to view, explore and hike on or around. Enjoy the Lake Clementine to the Confluences hike and walk under the bridge for fantastic views.

Highest bridge in California, spans the American River Canyon with views of 2 of the 3 forks of the river. 30,000 acres of trails are below it! (Great for hiking, mountain biking, swimming in the summer, ...)
