Restaurant De Oesterput is an experience. The good name and reputation extends far beyond Blankenberge where the Devriendt family started their seafood trade four generations ago. The Oyster pit is the place par excellence where you can enjoy lobster, oysters, fresh fish, jumbo mussels or an excellent seafood dish. De Oesterput is synonymous with everything the sea has to offer. Don't expect a fancy place, this restaurant is a hangar with wooden tables & chairs, vichy tablecloths and open busy kitchen. The waiters are genuinely friendly and the outside terrace is a must. Often a queue at the entrance (no reservation possible) but that is part of the charm of the place. Prices are slightly higher than average.

Great place for fresh seafood. Oyster delight! No reservation possible. Just stand in line, It won't take longer than half hour. It's worth waiting;)
