It is right next to the open air daily fish market...there aren't that many places where you know you are getting freshness. The decor is either designed to perfection to mimic an authentic trattoria, or it simply is an authentic trattoria! The service is natural - kind and helpful at all times. The…

Étterem
“The 150-year-old Osteria Arman, a noisy bar with locals playing cards at rough wooden tables while talking politics and sport, gets packed out for lunch and dinner. There is no service charge, no tourist menu, just a tempting daily list of ever-changing seasonal dishes: ravioli stuffed with locally grown radicchio and smoked ricotta (€9), plump gnocchi with rich duck ragù (€9), porcini risotto (€10) or sopa coada (pigeon soup with bread, €10), followed by our famous Tiramisu, dessert created 50 years ago by a chef right here in Treviso. Pizzéria
“Best pizza in town! Wood fired ovens crisp up a variety of pizza specialties. Despite indoor and outdoor seating for hundreds, the service is remarkably fast. If you’re looking for pizza, this is the obvious choice. ”

Museum
“The Museum had closed in 2003 for urgent renovations, but its redevelopment project began to flesh out only in 2010. And in 2015, finally, it was time for a new inauguration. The new entrance of the “Luigi Bailo” Civic Museum in Treviso features an interesting cross-shaped façade by Padua’s Studiomas Architetti Associati and Austrian architect Heinz Tesar. It is a composition of eight artificial stone slabs standing out against a backdrop of white marmorino, located on the southern end of a 15th century monastery that was terribly damaged by bombings during the Second World War and rebuilt in 1952. The Bailo Museum – named after the priest who in the late 1800s founded a “Treviso Museum” in this same spot, showcasing paintings and sculptures from various periods and countries, as well as some noteworthy Renaissance pieces – is now home to a 20th century art collection that includes the largest existing collection of works by Arturo Martini, with over 130 pieces between stone sculptures, plaster casts, objects in terracotta, ceramic and bronze, and works of graphic art. ”

Establishment
“This is a family owned osteria/restuarant, they have amazing pasta and great fish and meat, try the ravioli and the fresh tuna, unless you are super eco-conscious, then some other fish or perhaps a salad. Also it is kind of a bar so you can over stay there.”

Route
“Zona del mercato del pesce dal martedi al sabato mattina e uno degli scorci più caratteristici della città con i suoi mulini, locali per antipastini e aperitivi, trattorie tipiche. Absolutely the heart of Treviso and the most picturesque area. It hosts the fish market every morning from Tuesday to Saturday. Here you will find a lot of traditional restaurants and "osterie" to taste the typical "cicchetti" and a good glass of Prosecco. ”
