Spend a few hours just aimlessly strolling the narrow streets of the Old town. On this small island is where the original Stockholm was founded some 800 years ago. Visit the castle, the main square, browse the many souvenir shops on Västerlånggatan. Why not pop in to the the Nobel museum?

The old town is very pretty and a must see. Very touristy and overpriced, but definitely worth passing by when going to the city center. It's small so you see most of it by just walking though it

The Old Town of Stockholm is from the 1600 century. Well worth sightseeing and if you are interested of history you could rent a local guide to show you around.
