Vredenheim is a lovely place to visit on a summers day. Enjoy a wine tasting, light lunch at the restaurant or a tour through the big cats park - home to a few rescued big cats, such as lions and tigers.

Good option if you want to see bigger cat species, including white lions, leopards, cheetahs and tigers. Note, these are mostly rescued animals and being taken extremely good care off. There’s also a kids friendly play area with farm animals

Hudsons Restaurant is my favourite: reasonably priced good food with gorgeous views. Very relaxed atmosphere and the animal sanctuary is a must see.

Children can feed and pet farm animals and play in the play outdoor park which includes a bike track, jungle gym and sandpit. Their Big Cats Park is fully approved by Cape Nature. The farm offers restaurants and wine tasting.
