I would recommend this place in the evening, the basement (the name is Græni hatturinn) is known to have an ambitious program of music performers. Many well known but seeking that off venue experience

Lovely cafe downtown Akureyri with newly baked bread, cakes, soup and more. In the evening there is a relaxed café atmosphere.
