Caffe Reggio

Caffe Reggio survives as a remnant of an Italian neighborhood that once existed in the area. A locals’ coffee and pastry stop, it's maintained its old world, bohemian vibe since 1927. The chairs and tables are out of a Fellini movie, a magnificent 1902 espresso machine pumps out warm coffee, and Italian antiques and paintings decorate the walls. Grab a seat on the antique bench along the back wall. It’s a Medici family antique.

They literally brought the Cappuccino to the U.S. a hundred years ago. Full of vintage knick knacks, this a great little cafe.

Opened in 1927, it houses the first cappuccino maker of its kind, built in 1902. Original art covers its walls, including an original 16th Century painting by an artist of the Caravaggio School.

A nearly 100 year old cafe with good small meal food, coffee, pastries, and an atmosphere right out of the 20s

A must see for coffee lovers. Opened in 1927, Caffe Reggio was the first caffe in the US to serve Cappuccino; not to mention GREAT people watching!
