You can jump off the cliffs here but be aware of the currents and weather. Summer is best time. I would only jump if there are already people there jumping.

Do you love cliff jumping or love watching others jump? Then this is the place for you and the view of the ocean is incredible! Welcome to the southern most point in the USA! If you are not an experienced cliff jumper, I don’t recommend jumping yet watching others can be great fun too. It’s approximately a 35 ft drop with a ladder locals have built up the side of the cliff to get back up. I know people that have gotten injured very badly cliff jumping so again, if you are not experienced don’t try this. Whether you enjoy cliff jumping or not, it’s a beautiful place to visit.

This is the southern-most geographic location in the United States. Looking southward, there is nothing but ocean... all the way to Antarctica! The cliffs here are beautiful and attract lots of visitors. Some will leap off the cliff. There is an area with a ladder on the cliff wall to climb back up. Just watching people do it is enough for me.

Jump off of the cliffs into the blue ocean at the southern most tip of the united states! Or just watch the thrill seekers do it. Either way, there are spectacular views of the southern most coastline on the Big Island.

Ka Lae, also known as South Point, is the southernmost point of the Big Island of Hawaii and of the 50 United States. The Ka Lae area is registered as a National Historic Landmark District under the name South Point Complex.
