The restaurant Peder Oxe has a French inspired but also very Danish menu in the picturesque old part of inner Copenhagen called Gråbrødretorv. This large square or Piazza is indeed a hidded gem, and go there for lunch if you visit the Pedestrian Street or the Round Tower. Or even better - make a reservation at Peder Oxe for "Cake Sundays" where you can eat unlimited cakes from 2-5 PM.
