With its exotic plants, fragrant herbs and lush, tranquil surrounds, South Bank’s stunning Epicurious Garden is a must-see for locals and visitors alike. Located in the heart of the South Bank Parklands, near River Quay, the Epicurious Garden is free to visit and is open all year round. The Epicurious Garden is a productive garden made up of seasonal, edible plant life including fruits, vegetables and herbs. It is all about discovery, and visitors are invited to explore the garden’s exquisite plant life and see what fresh produce looks, feels and smells like. If you would like to taste the produce, please either taste from the herbs in our big pots, collect samples from the harvest cart ask our volunteers to pick some for you. The harvest cart is open from 7am-2pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. It free to collect from and it operates on a first-in, best-dressed basis.

A giant edible garden filled with exotic plants and fragrant herbs isn’t exactly what you’d imagine yourself stumbling across in the inner city. Set within the South Bank Parklands, the Epicurious Garden grows seasonal fruit and vegetables. To keep the garden thriving, drop in Tuesday to Thursday from 7am to 2pm to collect free food from the Harvest Cart.
