This is the best grocery store if you're headed South on the 101. It's about 25 minutes away but it has tons of selection (clothes too) and is cheaper than Safeway.

You can find just about anything you need for your trip here. And its only 5 minutes up the road.

While it's nice to have local markets in Waldport and Yachats, the prices are quite high for essentials. So if you are staying for a few days and need to stock up, it's worth it to go to Freddies, Safeway, Grocery Outlet and Walmart in Newport.

Forgot some clothes? Need new shoes? Fred Meyer is the Meijers of the Oregon Coast! Great store, fabulous deli, Starbucks, apparel, pet supplies and much more.

If you're not from the Northwest, Fred Meyer is full-service shopping similar to Target, Walmart, etc.
