A visit to the imposing remains of the Anio Vetus, Aqua Marcia, Anio Novus and Aqua Claudia aqueducts in the Prenestine area is a delightful and fascinating itinerary. In San Gregorio da Sassola and Gallicano nel Lazio we find large tracts of the remains of the ancient aqueducts.
