Light Festival is given a big revamp every winter. From Takenotsuka Station, 220,000 champagne gold bulbs decorate the zelkovas on one of the longest lit-up boulevards in Tokyo. This leads to the main venue at Motofuchie Park, where a vivid illumination display expresses the four seasons of Adachi. Eight of Japan’s rarest natural trees standing 20 meters tall showcase lights that dance to a vernal tune every 20 minutes.
