Traditional countryside pub for a great award winning pint. A miles walk across fields from our cottage. Limited opening times 12-3, 6-9 and limited sandwich menu served 12-2. Lovely pub garden overlooking fields, dogs welcome.

The Plough, provides a good halfway mark for a longer walk, which loops from Itchen Stoke, via Avington to Itchen Abbas and home.

Great traditional country pub selling authentic ales. Open daily from 12noon until 3pm and evenings. Does not serve hot food.

Highly recommended - booking required. Roast on Sundays, local produce all homemade.
