Artecorte

I created “ArtCut” in 1999 to honor the craft of barbers in Cuba. It’s a working barbershop that’s also a living museum, filled with antique barber chairs and hairdressing tools. Get a haircut at Artecorte, and your money will help fund a whole host of community projects I’ve developed around it to help the neighborhood. Among the community projects I fund through Artecorte is an adjacent free barber academy where instructors donate their time to train kids in the trade and then help them find jobs.
