Starting at our doorstep, the Matas do Gaio is a beautiful forest to hike and discover the native flora and fauna. With oaks, cork trees, chestnut, pines, strawberry trees, apple and pear orchards, mushrooms, wild flowers, squirrels, rabbits, wild boar, eagles...this enchanting forest is full of life, we go for a walk everyday and every walk is different.
