Beautiful Prom for an evening stroll. It has lovely beaches for water activities and a diving board. These are some lovely restaurants and coffee shops here also.

There is a blue flag beach. There are many fine resturants. There is a childrens pool and funpark. It is close to the city center

The longest promenade in Ireland. A Beautiful walk along Galway bay beaches.

Go to the Beach. Try the diving Board at the end of Salthill or just go to the beach. You can always walk the promenade for a good long healthy walk.

Very lively in summer during the day - the beach. Great views across to The Burren on the other side of Galway Bay and to the Aran Islands on a good day. Great place for a walk in the sea air at any time of year, there's a 2km promenade (called locally The Prom) right along the seafront.
