- Nos encontraremos a las 10.30 en la Marina Internacional de Santa Marta, abordaremos el Artivela, un velero marca Cooper Mapple Leaf de 56 pies con capacidad para 26 pasajeros. A las 11 am saldremos rumbo a nuestro destino Bahia Concha en el Parque Tayrona o alguna bahía del Tayrona. La navegación hasta nuestro destino tardará aprox 1.5 horas. Aprovecharemos el tiempo para explicar los temas básicos de navegar a vela e ir conversando sobre las curiosidades del parque y su gente. Pondremos nuestras cañas para ir pescando. Pasaremos frente a la bahía de Taganga y de Granate. Allí empezaremos el famoso paso de Isla Aguja, la única isla del Parque Tayrona, después entraremos en Bahía Concha y trataremos de anclar lo más cerca de la playa. Nuestros compañeros de experiencia pueden elegir entre nadar, caminar por la playa, hacer snorkel o simplemente asolearse en el barco. A las 4.15 pm comenzaremos nuestro regreso a Santa Marta. Navegaremos a vela y todos participaràn. Llegaremos a la Marina a las 6 pm. Quien desee quedarse en el café de la marina puede hacerlo. Allí podrá conocer gente fascinante que está navegando por el mundo. Otros aspectos destacables. No te preocupes por nada. - You will meet Charlie, Jayson ( co-hosts) or me at the Marina of Santa Marta at 930 am. Say boat SONATA @ Gate. We depart 10 am on Sonata boat. Sonata is a 58ft cutter rigged ketch built in 1979 in Taipei, Taiwan with a 26 passenger capacity (currently 18 per covid) These ships are famous for their outstanding interior woodwork. Plenty of deck space and sun shade. We will motor up wind to Bahia Concha in Tayrona Park passing at a distance by Taganga, Playa Grande, Aguja Island. At Bahia Concha we`ll anchor. Our auxiliary boat will take you to the beach or you can swim to it. You can snorkel, SUP board, Kayak or sunbathe. WATER ACTIVITIES CAN ONLY BE DONE INTHE DESIGNATED AREAS OF THE BAYS ESTABLISHED BY THE MARITIME AUTHORITIES Lunch and 1 drink will be provided per person ON BOARD approximately 1 hour after arrival. Additional drinks are available for purchase. 3:45pm everyone should be on board again to sail back wind permitting. Back at Marina by 5pm where you can chill and enjoy the Sunset in the mini market. - Guests will be picked up in the morning at the agreed time from their Santa Marta location (by our driver) and head 45 minutes up a winding road to the mountain town of Minca where you will meet Gabriel or Cristian (co-hosts) at a local bakery for some real colombian coffee and freshly baked artesian bread. We will then begin a one hour hike (all levels welcomed) up to a double waterfall where we will be able to swim, have snacks and beverages from the eatery. Later we will head back down to the Minca town and visit a hostel 10 minutes up several stairs. At the hostel we will enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains, city and sea; order a beverage and a vegetarian meal. We will then make our way back to Santa Marta to end the day and for you to enjoy the sunset at your place of choice. - We depart santa marta between 9am and 9:30am. If youre staying in Santa Marta Center I should be able to arrange to pick you up where you are staying. Not more than 4 guest per trip for a comfortable and awesome drive up the Sierra Nevada Mountain to a 1892 Coffee farm and a new local beer brewery located in Minca. ( about 11 km paved road and 2km off road path) We´ll tour the old coffee farm facility, learn about the process and taste exceptional organic coffee. Then we will visit the brewery next door and you will get your complimentary beer sampler Tri-pack. Additional beer will be available for purchase. Then we will drive up a bit more to visit Camarita (an amazing BBQ place for a quick bite. If you dont eat meat we can skip camarita) On the way down we will stop by Siembra Boutique hostel.
