It started as an 18th century chapel, then became a grocery store and bar. It's now a Fado restaurant which incorporated the 18th century features such as the beautiful tile panels in its décor, and with an informal ambience. The menu is traditional cuisine to be accompanied by a good wine and the sounds of guitars.

Best Fado in Lisbon! In an old Chapel, decorated with portuguese tiles, very authentic and beautiful.Pricy to dine so you can go for a drink, but be aware, knock on the door only when the music stops.

This club in Alfama has a musical lineup toes the line between emerging fadistas and established stars, and its intimate setup offers an otherworldly ambience. Very recommended
