Camino is a special-occasion restaurant. They’re only open for dinner, plus brunch on the weekends, which is amazing. I really love the way they serve tea. They give you a small teapot, which makes about a cup, and then they keep refilling it as you enjoy your food. I love that they do that because people don’t realize that you can re-steep tea! They also do really, really good coffee. They even have a barista during brunch. They do it right.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Oakland. Small menu but everything is tasty. Cocktails are perfectly balanced.

“This place changed its name to Walnut & Oak recently, but it’s still the same great restaurant with the same menu (which changes a bit with the seasons). It’s very expensive! The dinner is amaaazing, make a reservation ahead of time or eat at the massive bar. I’ve also been for brunch twice and it’s meh (but you can usually get a table then without a reservation).”
