Our kids loved walking up the hill to explore the Thuya Gardens and the Asticou Terraces at the end of the day. Great way to get the wiggles out of them before dinner.

Park at the Asticou dock and walk up the stone steps on the ledges overlooking Northeast Harbor Marina. Continue on to view beautiful perennial gardens and incredible botanical library.

“Best fine-dining on the quiet side. Food and atmosphere are both worth paying a little extra. The duck is amazing! Open Wednesday through Sunday for dine-in and limited take-out, lunch and dinner. New outdoor seating we have not yet experienced but looks lovely, as well as inside seating. Requires a face covering upon entry and exit. Recommend a reservation.”
