If you have a car or bike, we recommend to go to the old village of Damme. It is world heritage and you can make nice strolls in the area. Next to the 'Damse Vaart', the beautiful canal. Lot of great options to eat and drink too. We personally love ' de smisse'.

Damme is a picturesque medieval town in the green Flemish polders at a stone's throw from historic Bruges and the Belgian coast. Damme is an ideal base for your family's day out. The landscape is very inviting and well-suited for a bicycle ride. But if you rather like a nice walk, you need not look far either

Damme is a verry beautiful little town. From the loft to there it is 5 km. It is a really nice way near the Cannal with trees you can follow. It is easy by bike, but also as a good walk. They are verry nice restaurants and Cafés in Damme.

If you love nature and walks in a quiet landscape, go to the small, nearby village of Damme. There are several nice hiking routes there. Afterwards you can have a drink or Belgian waffle to reload. Damme is 10 minutes away by car.

Beautiful village, 5 kilometres from Bruges. It has buildings in the same style, but it is much smaller than Bruges. It is lovely cycling there and back, by the canal, or taking the slow boat Lamme Goedzak.
