“Fabulous was to get an unguided ocean based tour of Stonington and the Islands to Isle au Haut. This is how the island residents get to the island so expect just about anything on the boat. Check schedules. About half of Isle au Haut is owned and managed by Acadia National Park. There are no cars on the island but you can take a bike. There are roads both tarred and gravel.”
