Visitor's Centre Kennemerduinen combines a nice playground where kids can play with sand and water (bring extra clothes or swimming gear!) with excellent coffee and the best banana bread and carrot cake of the region! Also recommended for lunch. The free exhibition in the visitors’ centre shows the various dune zones, plants and animals that live here. Children learn about nature playfully with, for example, the bird tree with tasks and bird sounds. There is a water playground outdoor – fun for the little ones. The visitors centre has several games and treasure hunts to experience the dunes in a playful way. Excursions and activities for children are organised regularly in the park. These can be found in the activity calendar. Come and take a look at one of the many events, which provide fun for all ages!

Nice place to start and end your trip through the dunes and forest of the most beautiful national park. Maybe even have a swim in the lake?
