Tippek a helyiektől
At high tide and in early morning or evening this is an amazing place to relax. If you want to swim you need to visit within 2 hours of high tide for a pleasant experience. Check www.swimsafe.co.nz to ensure the water is healthy; don't swim 2-3 days after a lot of rain after a dry spell.
Awesome spot for early morning off-lead play - check website, is usually ok until about 10AM.
We take the short drive in the car to Point Chev Beach when the tide is in. It's only a few minutes away then, and if the tide is full in the evening it's a bonus because it gets the setting sun.
the closest, best at high tidy, low time just involves more mud and shallow swimming.
