Tidal Falls Preserve is right across the water from the cabin. At high tide will see the rushing waters and maybe a seal feeding. Free concerts on Mondays with food trucks at 6 pm. July thur mid August. www.frenchmanbay.org
Right in Hancock is a sweet spot with a reversing falls, picnic tables, outdoor concerts on a Monday evening. It's a conservation site , used to be a working lobster pound. The turnoff is on the East Side Rd about two miles from Jellison Cove going back towards Rte 1.
