“Kerikeri has a rich and colourful history. The Stone Store is New Zealand's oldest building. Rewa's Village will take you back to a time before European settlement. And a visit to the Kerikeri Mission Station and Pete's Pioneers Transport Museum is not to be missed.”

Point of Interest
“A must do visit to Rainbow Falls. A 4.3km walk (about an hour) one way starting at the Rainbow Falls car park and ending up at the Kerikeri Basin where one will find parking and picnicking areas. A short easy and beautiful walk through native bush. There are three viewing platforms at the top of Rainbow Falls. There is a historic weir that supplied the first electrical power to the early Kerikeri township and the remnants of the hydro-electric station are still visible. An information panel is situated at the rest area. Dogs are not permitted on the walking track. Ensure your vehicle is locked and any valuables are out of sight before leaving for your walk.”
