Restaurant Lectar is a lovingly decorated homey restaurant, serving a selection of delicious Slovene cuisine and wines. An over 500-year-old house stands on the medieval square in the centre of Radovljica, in which the Lectar restaurant has been operating since 1822. The food is so inviting to the eyes and tastes so darn good! The service is excellent and the restaurant is so cozy and welcoming, conveniently divided into several rooms and decorated with care and love. A must see here is museum in the basement, where gingerbread hearts and other products are still made from gingerbread in keeping with a time honoured tradition. Folk music and dancing is arranged most evenings for some light entertainment for the restaurant’s guests. A lovely dining experience in every way.

Aside from good food, the inn offers an excursion into the past, since it is surrounded by numerous historical sights: the Apicultural Museum, a 700-year-old church of St. Peter, the Šivec House art gallery and the birth house of Anton Tomaž Linhart.
