Take a walk around this historic park and then have a burger at Butcher and Sons.

El paseo más antiguo que tiene la Ciudad de México es este bello espacio arbolado y engalanado con una infinidad de esculturas y fuentes.

Recently renovated, the Alameda park is highly historical with a modern touch. It is great to jog, walk anytime during the day or night and to crowd watch. Kids love it to.

Founded in 1592. It is considered the first public park in America. This is a nice place to enjoy a walk. Here you can buy a soda or and ice cream and seat juts to relax and watch around. There are also some stands around that sell artcrafts and snacks.

Point of Interest
“Some nights streets close from Chapultepec park all the way to the Zócalo, for people to ride their bicycles or go skating along the famous Reforma avenue. Just off the main street you will find the Monumento a la Revolución, especially beautiful when illuminated at night. In the mornings at 8:00am local schools march with the flag, singing the national anthem, sometimes beating their drums.”

Museum
“De los museos actuales, quizás el de mejor museografía. Duro por los temas que trata, tanto extranjeros como nacionales: Guerras, Persecuciones, Matanzas, Intolerancia Racial. Lo recomiendo bastante. One of the best modern museums, hard because of its content: Wars, Crime, Homophobia Human Rights. Great museography. Fun to watch the boys and girls doing choreographies in the mirror windows of the building next door. No idea why they do it! All the buildings that used to be in this area were destroyed by the earthquake of 1985...by the way.”
