One of our favorite hikes starting from the West side of the island, but can access from either side. Most northern point ends in Albatross sanctuary. Come if possible during nesting season! Bring water and lunch, don't forget sunscreen. Enjoy the views of the ocean along the entire hike.

Head towards Ka'ena Point, lots of beautiful beaches along the way! Road may be blocked making it a longer hike. But if you get to the point you can see the Lsysan Albatross (Goony Birds)

Ka'ena point Trail from Farrington Highway. 5 miles out and back. This is best done at first light in the morning because there's no shade on this one. You'll hike out to the north east point of the island and be able to view the west side (Yokohama / Waianae). There is an albatross sanctuary at the end where you'll be able to see fledgling around May and June.

More of a walk than hike, takes you from the end of the road near Yokahama Bay out to the end of the Island. It's a Seabird and Monk Seal sanctuary, and in the winter time you can usually spot some Humback Whales offshore.
