One of our favorite spots is Blue Dog Bakery! Go Saturday morning and pick something up from the bakery like a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit or a sweet bakery treat. You can also grab a table between 10AM-2PM for brunch, but they do stop serving breakfast at Noon.

The hippest coffee shop on Frankfort Ave. is definitely Please & Thank You! Grab some of their delicious cookies and hot coffee while enjoying the old jukebox that plays in the cafe. It's a short walk from our home.

The best margarita's in town are served at El Mundo! It's quite the experience and some awesome Mexican food. Head upstairs to put your name on the list for a table or order from the to-go line on the first floor. This place fills up fast so go early or expect a long wait.

The BEST burger and beer list in town. It's a short drive from our home, but it's in this really cool church that's been renovated into a hip restaurant and bar. Order from the counter or head upstairs for a table. If the weather is nice, you'll enjoy hanging outside.

Cherokee Park is the best park to visit inside the city. It's great for a walk on the trails, mountain biking, running, or a nice picnic. It's not too far away but you'll definitely want to drive to the park.
