They say best apple cake in Amsterdam. I haven't tried them all but this one is really good for sure. Plus beautiful setting, ideal to sit down for a cup of coffee and watch beautiful people :)

Everything is really tasty here. If you like bread, try their homemade soda bread. This is the original cafe (a new bigger location more in the center has been opened) and this is the one you want to visit. Just be patient to get a table and then even more patient with the service....it is sloooow, but worth it :)

100% Organic and 100% vegan. Buffet style delicious food , big variety. They weigh the plate and it is a bit on the expensive side though (approx 3 EUR per gram)

Biological food market. It is a bit more expensive than an average market but hey, you aren't going to cook much while on a holiday. The great thing is the location, in the famous district of Jordaan. Plus the cafe that serves the best apple cake ever is located on the side of the market.

TIP : Book a ticket online a day before the visit, will save you some time. You may also buy an I AMSTERDAM pass for all museums but in my opinion it is not worth it - you do need at least 3 hours per museum (Van Gogh and Contemporary Art museums are next door) , and those passes are for a day or two days - you probably don't want to spend a whole day inside of a building.
