Hidden below the Golden Gate Bridge is a civil war area fort that the bridge was actually designed around. It's an amazing structure with a great view of the bay. Open Friday- Sunday.

Not just a museum, but this is the century old building that houses the systems for the cable cars. It's amazing to see the giant spools of cables in action. Not to be missed!
