An avenue on which a large number of KL’s most popular bars and restaurants can be found, it is a trendy place that is great for pub crawling. It is actually located just behind Jalan Bukit Bintang, so it's very easy to get to – particularly if you are staying in the Golden Triangle area. It can get very busy here, especially during the weekends and public holidays. The buildings are unique because they used to be pre-war, colonial shop-houses that were refurbished and turned into upmarket pubs and restaurants – most of which serve western food. Located approximately 11 kilometres to the north of Kuala Lumpur, this 100-year-old temple features idols and statues erected inside the main caves and around it. Incorporated with interior limestone formations said to be around 400 million years old, the temple is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus, Cathedral Cave – the largest and most popular cavern in Batu Caves – houses several Hindu shrines beneath its 100-metre-high arched ceiling. At the foot of Batu Hill are two other cave temples – Art Gallery Cave and Museum Cave

The free-flight, walk-in aviary has over 60 species of local and foreign birds, including the Indian blue peacock, with its colourful five-foot train, and the crowned pigeon, the largest pigeon species in the world.

The Butterfly Park, Kuala Lumpur is located inside the Lake Gardens Kuala Lumpur. The Butterfly Park is one of the five gardens and parks which make up the Lake Gardens. The Butterfly Park has an extensive collection of over 6000 butterflies from more than 120 species.The park is beautifully landscaped with myriads of lush greenery and colorful flowers. There are also a nursery and breeding area where you can see the butterfly larvae emerging as butterflies from their cocoons. Other than these butterflies of various colors and sizes, there are also insects on display. Among the insects on display are the rhinoceros beetles and the praying mantises.
