Oxford is a city which was built on a ford of the River Thames. It is famous for its university which is based on a colegiate system...ie 30+ independent colleges all affliated to the University. Buildings date from the 13th Century.
It is a short walk from Woodman Court over the river at Magdalen Bridge past the Botanical Gardens and Magdalen College down the High Street fronted by many of the oldest colleges.

St Clements is the main road to London and here you can find bus stops for London and Heathrow Airport.
