This is like nothing you have ever experienced. The store itself sells jam, however the property it sits on is like being inside a story land made entirely out of scrap metal and your great great aunts antiques. You just have to see it to understand. Some of the structures are covered, making it a great escape from a light rain.

Over 300 lobster boats come in and out of Stonington harbor a day. More lobster are sold here than anywhere else in the world. You can learn all about the lobster industry inside the Maine Center for Costal Fisheries, they have a touch tank and will let you hold the lobster.
