A short walk up Croanna St and around the corner, this is our closest coffee shop which makes a yummy omelette for breakfast. Where Peninsula Pantry is a real winner though is the takeaway meals - patties, salads and pies are a winner winner chicken dinner!

Very handy breakfast too, and probably the better coffee you'll find in Rye.

A 10 minute drive up the road to Rosebud, but one of the better breakfasts and coffee around. Potato hash with mushrooms - yum!

Sit in or takeaway wine and boutique beers, and a good spread of nibbles such as cheese and pate. The girls are ace and will happily recommend a nice drop to suit your mood. We love grabbing a couple of beers to takeaway and sip on the beach.

Steam gets some of the best reviews for restaurants around Rye and it's pretty well deserved. Great food across the spectrum of asian cuisines with a focus on seafood. They have an oyster tank that keeps the oysters in sea water which means they are incredibly fresh and tasty. There is also a very handy wine list. Service can be a little sketchy, but still worth the spend for a special night out.

Our favourite restaurant in Rye, hands down. Great authentic Thai food and quirky staff ;-) Great to sit down and eat at the restaurant, or to takeaway and eat on the balcony with some beers! They do offer BYO which is not a bad idea - they have standard beers and a pretty short wine list.

Great authentic Thai food and quirky staff ;-) Great to sit down and eat at the restaurant, or to takeaway and eat on the balcony with some beers! They do offer BYO which is not a bad idea - they have standard beers and a pretty short wine list.
Del Posto is our new favourite for date night. The food is exquisite - modern Italian with lots of seafood and other tasty delights. The wine list includes lots of different wines beyond your old chardy and shiraz, including a number of Italian varietals from local wineries. The staff are sensational - like old friends. Pretty sure you'll only get in (at least on the weekend) by reserving in advance.

The wine list includes lots of different wines beyond your old chardy and shiraz, including a number of Italian varietals from local wineries. The staff are sensational - like old friends. Pretty sure you'll only get in (at least on the weekend) by reserving in advance.
It's about a 15 minute drive away, but well worth it, especially if you're on your way for a day trip to Mornington. Super scrummy brunch, with some really interesting a different options that you wouldn't see at other brunch spots (beetroot fritters, nom, nom, nom). Coffee roasted by their sister business in Mornington, Common Folk (also worth a squizz).

Really lovely yoga studio with a beautiful vibe. We love the Sunday night yin yoga class for a bit of zen. Casual class passes, and all mats and props provided, so perfect for impromptu drop in.
