This is a very popular spot in Oslo. It has great American food as well as the best English breakfast you will find in all of Oslo. Is a bit on the pricier side, and if it is a nice day you will probably have to stand in line outside.

Close by, this is one of the best takeaway places on Bjølsen. They make the food really quickly. Highly recommended!

This restaurant probably serves one of Oslo's best tapas. It's situated in "Grünerløkka", quite close to the river "Akerselva". They also got a restaurant at Aker Brygge, downtown. Would recommend tasting a variety of their tapas, sit out in the sun for a glass prosecco and enjoy the nice candle-lit atmosphere by night.

Fresh bread everyday, nice salads, toasts and sandwiches. They have a lovely coffee, they roast it themselves, both for a nice cup of coffee there and bags of coffee for purchase. Would recommend either the Classic or the Spanish sandwich on the "spelt bread". Very close to the flat, only a 2 minutes walk away.

For Norwegion dining, I would recommend Lokk. It has rely great food, but you do need a reservation.

If you want fancy gourmet food, this is one of my favorite places to go. It has a nice romantic atmosphere. Personally, I would recommend this place combined with a show at the opera for a perfect evening.

If you want live music performs by great bands this is the spot for you. This is a live music venue that I would highlight recommend.

Arts & Culture
This is a greatly known place to visit and it is absolutely something that very tourist in Oslo should do, however, it is greatly under valued what's inside. Oslo has some amazing opera singers and magnificent Ballett dancer. I did not know that I would enjoy Ballett before I went, and it is actually really cheep to see a show. If you want a nice evening out with a loved one this is absolutely the way to go!

Du burde gå dit tidlig før showet da det nesten alltid er fullt. Min favoritt er musikalaften. Da lager de en musikal på stående fot, veldig humoristisk og veldig vanskelig å forklare. Dette er noe du må se!

Modern and new, this museum is at the end of probably Oslo`s most expensive spot. I would not recommend akerbrygge because of its price, however, I will recommend this museum.

It's easy to get to centrum using the tran from the shopping center. This is also a shopping mall. It does not have a lot of store, but it's the closest Vinemonopoly to my apartment. So if you want to buy some vine, Champagne or liquor this is the spot.

This is the closest (good) shopping mall to my apartment. I have not been there many times, but if I need something I'm sure I'll find it there.

Entertainment & Activities
This is not an ordinary movie place. They show different kinds of films and special showings. This was the only place in Norway that got to show "The Hateful Eight" in 8mm film. If you like a different movie experience, this is the place.

If you want to go to the movies this is my personal favorite cinema. It is close by, they show all the big blockbusters and the seats are really great.

This is the main movie theater in Oslo. It has a really big screen which is nice when you want really extraordinary movie experience. I go hair for all the big blockbusters, it's a bigger cinematic experience then Ringen.
