Just a 10-min drive from the cabin, Tenney Mountain Ski Area re-opened in 2023 and we love the feel of this nice local mountain. Tickets are very reasonably priced. Although there are only 3 lifts, it has a nice long vertical drop and offers great skiing for intermediate to advanced skiers & snowboarders. There is also a beginner hill and nice tubing park, and you can "skin" up the mountain for $10. The lodge has great food, and nice bar and often has live music. I highly recommend checking out Tenney!

Back Road to Ellsworth / Campton

This road is closed in Winter and not passable (even with 4 WD). It's open from May - Nov and there are beautiful views of the White Mountains as you head into Ellsworth!
