Folly Beach is the closest beach to Lac Maison. Parking is easy and the strip is clean and full of great local shops and amazing restaurants. And of course the sun, sand, and waves are great to play and relax in!

Shem Creek is a short drive from Lac Maison and is home to some of the coolest sights in the area. With restaurants flanking both sides of the creek, there is no reason anyone will go hungry in this place. This is one of the best spots to catch the most beautiful sunsets in the evening while you walk the new boardwalk all the way to the end of the marshland or chill on the deck of one of the many places to eat. Shem creek is a great place to rent kayaks and row your way through the waters. If you're lucky, you may be joined by friendly dolphins playing beside you and the large pelicans flying above. A MUST DO MUST SEE PLACE!
