This place won an award for their soul food and BBQ. one of my personal favs. It is also located next to other businesses such as pharmacy, convenience stores, and banks.

Infact their food is so good I felt it needed recognition so I listed it here instead of the convenience store category. Their menu is online and was recognized on Yelp for having a variety of good food such as burgers, chicken salad, pork chops, fish and even breakfast.

This museum has 4 floors and is completely interactive fun for all ages! Each section has a different subject such as space or dinosaurs. I spent 4 hours and still didn't see everything! The 4D movies are extra but worth it. The Dallas world Aquarium is nextdoor so sometimes you can find deals for both online.

Located 3 miles away on the edge of downtown, this place is a beautiful way to see the Texas skyline lit up at night. They have telescopes you can look through day or night but with all the vibrate colors of the Texas skyline, night is the BEST time to go.

One of my favorite parts of town located about 2 miles away. It's more of an artsy vibe and has plenty of hidden gems! Food, clubs, and live music fill the streets. The best part is most are very affordable! Serious pizza serves some of the largest pizzas ever known and taste great.
