Winter Sports
Dakota Ridge is a 1,532 acre plateau featuring 20 kilometres of world-class groomed and track-set cross-country ski trails (classic and skate) and 8 kilometres of snowshoe trails plus acres of backcountry terrain. The trails wind through old-growth forests and open areas in a beautiful subalpine setting.

Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park is located north of Sechelt and is a beautiful area that offers scenic coastal views of the cove and shoreline along the Strait of Georgia. The hike is fairly easy with a few sections that ascend as you make your way up onto the rocks for views of the park.

Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park is located north of Sechelt and is a beautiful area that offers scenic coastal views of the cove and shoreline along the Strait of Georgia. The hike is fairly easy with a few sections that ascend as you make your way up onto the rocks for views of the park.
The rapids can be reached by a popular and easy 4 km hike along a well-developed trail in Egmont, BC, with minimal elevation change, which takes about one hour to walk. The trail takes you to the Narrows, where you can choose one of two viewing locations: Roland Point and North Point.

Chapman Falls is a beautiful, multi-tiered waterfall that is located just south of Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast. Most of the views looking directly towards Chapman Falls are partially obstructed, however there are views of the upper section of the falls. It is a 4km roundtrip easy hike to the falls and back. You can walk to the falls from our house.
