It still boasts its original beacon and operates much as it did originally.
The lighthouse and surrounding scenery is beautiful and it is well worth a visit, and you can team up your Lighthouse tour with your Bushman’s Bay Walk, which is throughout magnificent coastal scenery and cliffs as well as fauna and flora.

Mirang AvenueThis walk has beautiful boardwalk and walking tracks which run through bushland along the south bank, from the estuary to the Nepean Highway, with two bridges to the north bank creating a circuit. At the highway, the track connects with walking tracks in The Briars Park.
I love running on this boardwalk track – because it’s so kind on the joints and knees.
Start/Finish: Starts and finishes at the Balcombe Creek Car Park on the Esplanade.

The Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve is located 5km east of Frankston, access and parking is available via McClelland Drive.
The park is an ideal spot for setting for quiet recreational activities including walking, jogging, photography, nature study and also cycling and horse riding in defined areas.
The walking tracks traverse a range of vegetation communities providing opportunities to see a wide variety of plants.
This trail heads straight through Hastings, covering much of the foreshore and also passing the Westernport Marina. It’s a beautiful walk and often there are majestic pelicans on the shore.
Start/Finish: Starts at the Frankston-Flinders Road and Graydens Road intersection and finishes where Frankston-Flinders Road meets with Stony Point Road.
Distance: Approx 12 kms (return)Time to Complete: Half day

This museum is hidden gem of the Mornington peninsula. The museum is beautifully presented and there are lots of rare and outstanding artefacts.

The gallery is at Whistlewood - an artistically significant family home in a beautiful spot in Shoreham.
