There are several Lincoln Squares in town. One just went in a few minutes from our home on Washington Street in Irvington, too. They're a great, budget-friendly breakfast place. And their French toast is amazing!

Pogue's Run is both a grocery store and an excellent place to get a sandwich. The store features locally-sourced everything, plus plenty of organics. The restaurant makes some of the best sandwiches in town.

This is one of our favorite antique stores. Instead of the usual hodge-podge of furniture and knickknacks, they feature architectural items, including old doorknobs, trim, doors, bathroom fixtures, and more. Plus, they're just interesting people to chat with.

This is where you can go to buy weekly or monthly bus passes. If you'll be around town for more than a day or two, this is a much cheaper option than paying individual bus fare. We are close to the 3, 8, and 10 lines, which run on Michigan, Washington, and 10th Street, respectively.
