The historic town of Kendal is 7 miles from our house. There are a variety of shops to enjoy and many good quality restaurants.
A gorgeous village right on our doorstep (7 miles away) It is really easy to get there - one road from our house. We recommend Kirkby Lonsdale: with a variety of great restaurants, a beautiful church and great buildings. There is a lovely walk along the river and visit Devil Bridge.
