It is the best knife-cut Noodles (칼국수) near my flat. The broth is made by cow bones which is full of collagen. When it is chilly outside, we like to eat knife-cut noodles. This place is listed as Bib Gourmand of Micheallin guide.

If you can have any problem of giving a shot for new food, you can try 'Soy Crab'. This place must be the best place to try the Soy crab since it is very hard not to have a fishy smell since we use fresh raw crab when we make soy crab. Well, they successfully made the soy crab just yummy. You will get in line though because of its famous place listed in Bib Gourmand of Micheallin guide.

Gyeongbok palace is one of the most famous royal palace. It is tough to miss given its location at the northern end of Seoul's main boulevard and a stone's throw from the flat. Gyeongbok palace was built in the late 1300s, and has been destroyed and reconstructed numerous times from the wars. Give yourself at least an hour to stroll around the pavillions and halls within the palace's spacious walled grounds.

Surrounded by the famous palaces and Jongmyo shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses called 'hanok' that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. The village contains about 860 beautiful traditional houses which transformed as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse in the Korean traditional culture. I advise you to go up on the hills to see the best views of Joseon Dynasty and current Korea.

These historic little villages represent our ancestors fight against Japan during the end of Joseon dynasty. Most of houses were taken by Japanese and torn up to change to Japanese style house. Se guen, Jeong developed Iksun area to build Hanok village against pressure of Japan. He also supported Korean language society (last society to keep Korean language while Japan wanted to destroy.) during Japanese colonial era so we would not celebrate the beauty of Hanok villages in Seoul and Hangul( Korean language ) without him. Although most of shops closed at night in Insadong, Iksun dong is open till 10-12 pm. It is walking distance from the flat. Many shops, restaurants and pubs are there so you can just stroll around and choose one to visit.
